How do you use the Good Stuff Clay Kit?

Ensure that the paint stays well-lubricated and wet while claying. Never use a clay bar on dry paint.

Check the clay regularly and fold it so that you are always working with a clean section. After claying, wipe the surface with a clean microfiber towel.

Extra tip for thorough paint cleaning

For complete decontamination, you can use an Iron Remover before claying to chemically loosen iron particles and surface rust.

Afterwards, use the Clay Kit to mechanically remove the remaining stubborn contamination. Good Stuff recommends the same sequence: wash, optionally use Iron Remover, and then clay.

Important when claying car paint

Always use enough Clay Lube and apply as little pressure as possible.

Does the Clay Bar fall on the ground? Do not use that piece on the paint again, as sand or dirt in the clay can cause scratches.

After claying, you can inspect the paint and, if desired, treat it further with polish, wax, sealant, or coating.
